No referral is needed for most appointments! As a private practice, you can book an appointment at any time, for any reason. Our practitioners are qualified allied health professionals, so you don’t need to see your doctor first. However, in some cases, a current doctor’s referral is required, such as when claiming under WorkCover, CTP (motor vehicle scheme), Veterans Affairs, or the Medicare chronic disease management plan(EPC).
Yes, we do! All our practitioners are qualified to work with WorkCover and will expertly guide you through the claim process. Our team is experienced in communicating with Case Managers and managing the necessary paperwork to start, continue, or extend your claim. Simply bring your claim number to your appointment, and we’ll invoice the insurance company directly.
Best of all, there’s no gap fee for WorkCover patients, so you can focus on your recovery without any out-of-pocket expenses.
Yes, we do! We aim to make the CTP claim process as straightforward as possible. After your initial assessment, we’ll submit a treatment plan to your insurer for approval. Once approved, we’ll take care of all payments directly with your third-party insurer, so you can focus on your recovery.
Yes, we accept Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans, which your GP can organize for you. We’ll handle the claim directly with Medicare, but a set gap fee applies for each treatment. The EPC plan allows up to 5 treatments per calendar year.
Yes, we accept Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) claims. If you hold a Gold Card (covering any condition) or a White Card (for specific conditions), we provide consultations with direct billing to DVA. Please bring a referral (D109 form) from your GP to your appointment. There is no limit to the number of treatments available under this referral.
Yes, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early for your first appointment. This gives you enough time to fill out a short new patient form.
If you have any relevant paperwork, please bring it along, as it can provide valuable context for your practitioner. This may include scans, reports, referrals, doctor’s letters, or clinical notes from a previous physiotherapist.
Opt for comfortable, loose clothing that makes it easy for your practitioner to assess the affected area. For example, a t-shirt and shorts are ideal for most cases. If it’s chilly outside, don’t worry—you’re welcome to use our changing facilities before your appointment.
Yes, you can! We offer on-the-spot claiming through our HICAPS terminal for private health insurance rebates. We are proud to be preferred providers for Medibank Private (Member’s Choice), Bupa (Member’s First), and HCF (More for Muscles), which means you’ll enjoy minimal gap fees.
